Eszopiclone film-coated tablets in 1 mg, 2 mg and 3 mg strengths, supplied in strips of 10 tablets. Eszopiclone is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic prescribed for the short-term treatment of insomnia in adults. It is taken immediately before bed, with at least seven or eight hours set aside for sleep. Supplied as branded or generic stock in sealed manufacturer packaging. Which of the two is dispensed depends on what is in stock on the day; the active ingredient, the strength and the pack size are what the label says either way.
