Shipping and delivery

Medicine in the post is not ordinary parcel shipping. Here is how long it takes, what it costs, and where we can and cannot send it.

Where we can dispense

We dispense to [[SERVICE_AREA]].

Prescription medicine cannot lawfully be shipped across every border, and the rules differ by medicine as well as by destination. If we cannot fill your prescription where you live, we will tell you before you pay — never after.

How long it takes

StageTypical time
Pharmacist review of a new prescription[[REVIEW_TIME]]
Dispensing and checking[[DISPENSE_TIME]]
Standard delivery[[STANDARD_DELIVERY]]
Expedited delivery[[EXPEDITED_DELIVERY]]
Refill of an existing prescription[[REFILL_TIME]]

First orders take longest — we are building your record and verifying a prescription we have not seen before. Refills are much faster because that work is already done.

Please reorder early

Mail dispensing cannot rescue you the day you run out. Reorder with at least [[REORDER_LEAD]] of medicine remaining. If you are close to running out of something you cannot safely stop, call [[PHONE]] and talk to us rather than waiting on the post.

Cost

Standard shipping is [[STANDARD_COST]]. Expedited is [[EXPEDITED_COST]]. Cold-chain packing, where a medicine requires it, is [[COLDCHAIN_COST]]. Shipping is shown before you pay, not added at the end.

Packaging and privacy

  • Plain packaging. Nothing on the outside indicates what is inside or that it came from a pharmacy.
  • Protected in transit. Packed against heat, cold and crushing. Medicines needing refrigeration ship in insulated cold-chain packaging with a coolant.
  • Tracked. You get a tracking number when it leaves us.
  • Signature may be required for some medicines. We will tell you in advance where it applies.

If something goes wrong

Delayed. If tracking has not moved in [[DELAY_THRESHOLD]], call [[PHONE]]. If a delay puts your treatment at risk, tell us — we will prioritise a replacement rather than waiting for the original to surface.

Arrived damaged, or a cold-chain item arrived warm. Do not take it. Call us. Medicine that has been outside its storage range may no longer be safe or effective, and we will replace it.

Lost. We will trace it with the carrier and dispense a replacement where the law allows us to. See our returns page for why replacement rather than return is usually the answer with medicine.
